Journey
through the Universe week at CSO
CSO participated the
Journey through the Universe
program. Five members at the CSO, Walter Steiger,
Steve Baca, Riley Ceria, Richard
Chamberlin, and Hiroko Shinnaga gave 15
lectures in total at local schools including DeSilva 3 -- 6 grades,
Hilo Union Elementary School
3rd and 5th grades, Waiakea Elementary/Intermediate School 4th and 8th
grades, Kalanianaole Intermediate School 6-- 8 grades, and 10th
grade at PCS-Connections High School.
We've reached about 385 students in east side of the Hawaii island
throughout
the week of
February 4--8th 2008.
