System build started in March 2001.

and integration of Dish and System racks completed May 2002.

In June of
2002, with only 14 toothpicks (in specific locations), an appreciable and
consistent improvement in signal power was observed using the 692 Rx.

the DSOS is on its way!

(I am pleased
to report that it took 14 months to get a full 99 channel working system
built and running on the CSO.
Under the work conditions and summit environment, it is a very
impressive accomplishment.

I was told to
cease and desist all work in April 2002, one month before system buildup was
completed. The Director had to
get involved for the effort to continue.

After numerous
setbacks out of my control . . . I could not get system verification from
holography, thus the test with the 692Rx in June 2002.)
