USE THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS TO MOVE TO THE 230 RECEIVER:
____________________________________________________________
Turn on the Toshiba 3200 computer and when you get the DOS prompt (C:\>)
type MOTOR <enter>
This will start the Procomm communications program.
Connect the serial cable from SMC 2.
To move the 5th mirror horizontal motion:
type em27 <enter>
The display will show "0 nnnn" the final encoder value.
The number shown should agree within about +/-3 of the table values.
If they do not agree close enough then type em27 again.
To move the 5th mirror vertical motion:
type em28 <enter>
The display will show "0 nnnn" the final encoder value.
The number shown should agree within about +/-3 of the table values.
If they do not agree close enough then type em28 again.
To move the 4th mirror linear motion:
type em29 <enter>
The display will show "0 nnnn" the final encoder value.
The number shown should agree within about +/-3 of the table values.
If they do not agree close enough then type em29 again
Now disconnect the serial cable from SMC 2 and connect the cable from SMC 1.
To move the 4th mirror rotary motion:
type em21 <enter>
The display will show "0 nnnn" the final encoder value.
The number shown should agree within about +/-3 of the table values.
If they do not agree close enough then type em21 again
To move the 5th mirror rotary motion:
type em22 <enter>
The display will show "0 nnnn" the final encoder value.
The number shown should agree within about +/-3 of the table values.
If they do not agree close enough then type em22 again
Now make sure the 230/490 receiver is in the correct focus position:
type em25 <enter>
There may not be any movement at this point because the receiver focus for
the 230/490 Rx does not normally change.
The display will show "0 nnnn" the final encoder value.
The number shown should agree within about +/-3 of the table values.
If they do not agree close enough then type em25 again
type <alt>X and then type Y
to exit the Procomm program and then turn off the Toshiba 3200 computer,
disconnect the serial cable, and close the display so the receiver plate
will not hit it during a ZA slew.

type em42 <enter>
The display will show "0 nnnn" the final encoder value.
The number shown should agree within about +/-3 of the table values.
If they do not agree close enough then type em42 again
Now make sure the 230/490 receiver is in the correct focus position:
type em45 <enter>
There may not be any movement at this point because the receiver focus for
the 230/490 Rx does not normally change.
The display will show "0 nnnn" the final encoder value.
The number shown should agree within about +/-3 of the table values.
